With the in-flight wind assessment (GPS-enabled devices only), the app uses GPS and heading to automatically calculate the current wind at your altitude by just inputting your TAS or CAS with conditions. This brings integrated flight deck capabilities to your aircraft with a readout of your current head/tail- and crosswind components.
Inputs supported: heading, true airspeed, ground speed, track, wind direction, wind speed. Input any four parameters and the app calculates the rest.
